Appealing Randomness

Today, the blog is not cooperating.

Sor Juana and Las Monjas Coronadas, a good band name.

There is an appealing randomness to all of this.

Mathematical Theories Concerning Randomness

I know very little about mathematics but I know a lot about randomness.

A Pencil is a Good Material for Drawing a Ghost

So this is a self portrait from early January 2013. Around this time, I was making a lot of pencil drawings on a prepared ground. I usually like wet materials but pencil on prepared ground is a nice way to draw ghosts. I'm playing around with it again and really need to go into the studio pretty much right now.

My back pack is turning me into the living embodiment of Sisyphus.

What I was drawing at the beginning of 2013

It takes me a while to share what I make. I'd much rather get lost in the making. Here's a journal that I began in January 2013.
